ENGAGE your senses and join us in the beautiful Oakland Museum Courtyard to: SAMPLE exquisite wines and bountiful beer; TASTE delicious offerings from gourmet establishments; and GET EXCITED about gourmet delights …all this, and more, while raising much needed funds so that the Rotary Club of Oakland may continue to serve the Oakland community and beyond. 

Proceeds from this event are the primary source of financial support for our local and international charitable efforts.  With monies raised from last year’s wine and food event, The Rotary Club of Oakland continued to provide services for many individuals, partnered with other organizations, and gave back to the world community at large.  Here are just a handful of the service accomplishments The Rotary Club of Oakland participated in:

• Saroni-Lena Scholarship Fund – Awarded $25,000 in scholarships to Oakland high school graduates;
• Camp Enterprise – Celebrating it’s 25th year, this 3 day camp assists selected high school Juniors to focus on business skills;
• Providing 3 books for ALL Oakland 3rd graders – For the 2nd year in a row, the Rotary Club of Oakland provided 3 brand new books to each 3rd grader in Oakland Unified School District.

Over the past 26 years, thousands of guests have attended our annual Tastes of California, one of the Rotary Club of Oakland’s major fundraisers. This event, one of the first of it’s kind in the Bay Area, has brought together fine wine, food, desserts, champagne, spirits, beer and other beverages.
